Hi, hello, it’s been a minute! I know I’ve gone MIA for the past couple of months, more specifically the past month, as I’ve recently returned from a two-week bender in Los Angeles, California.
For me, LA is the happiest place on earth, or so it seems. After losing all my luggage (more on that later), I tried to forge forward and salvage my trip: meaning, finally heading out to Malibu.
While Malibu has always been on my list of ‘places to see,’ I recently developed a newfound wanderlust to venture out to the watch after reading Taylor Jenkin Reid’s Malibu Rising. I didn’t want to: I needed to ride down all 21 miles of the Pacific Coast Highway (better known as PCH), and not only did I: I did so twice.
The verdict? S-t-u-n-n-i-n-g.
Sure, sure, I picked the one (and only) overcast day, but let me tell you: it didn’t take away from the breathtaking scenery; the crisp blue ocean, the perfectly planted palm trees, and of course, the sand! I could write you a novel on how much I loved Malibu, but for the sake of time (and lack of energy), let’s leave it to the professionals.
If you want to book a trip to Malibu and see it in all its glory — check out the rates below, or at the very least add Malibu Rising into your carts.
